What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for a custom power adapter?

Accepted Answer

Standard housings start from 500 pcs per model, because that is the quantity at which our SMT line can be tooled economically without amortising set-up cost into the unit price. Fully bespoke enclosures require a new injection mould, so we normally recommend 3,000 pcs or more for the first order to keep the tooling share reasonable.

How long does sampling and mass production take?

Accepted Answer

Electrical samples built on an existing platform are ready in 7–10 working days. A new PCB layout with safety-compliant transformer design takes 15–20 days. Mass production lead time is typically 20–30 days after sample approval, subject to plug type, cable set and certification status.

Which safety and efficiency certifications can you supply?

Accepted Answer

We hold more than 120 valid certificates covering UL/cUL, CE (EN 62368-1), UKCA, CCC, PSE, KC, SAA/RCM, BIS and CB reports, together with DoE Level VI and EU ErP Tier 2 no-load/average-efficiency compliance. IEC 60601-1 designs are available for medical AC adapters with 2×MOPP isolation.

Which protection circuits are built into FuYun adapters as standard?

Accepted Answer

Every switching design includes over-voltage protection (OVP), over-current protection (OCP), short-circuit protection (SCP), over-temperature protection (OTP) and no-load standby power control. Y-capacitor and common-mode choke filtering keeps conducted emissions within EN 55032 Class B limits.

How do you guarantee batch-to-batch consistency?

Production follows ISO 9001 procedures and a documented SOP: bare-board test, first-article function test, ultrasonic welding, 100% hi-pot test, burn-in ageing and final function test. Test records are archived for years so every serialised unit remains 100% traceable to its component lot.
